Pictured here:1" 24:1 Yellow Jacket vertical model servo drive extruder and 1.5 inch Satellite extruder. Wayne Yellow Jacket Vertical and Yellow Jacket Satellite Co-extruders are used in co-extrusion situations. All Yellow Jacket Verticals have a full 90 degree adjustment capability from full horizontal to full vertical barrel alignment. Yellow Jacket Satellite extruders have a 30 degree adjustment, which is plus or minus 15 degrees from horizontal. These extruders are easily adjustable and feature ratchet or motorized height adjustment. They are easily moved about the lab or production floor on casters and are suitable for fitting into co-extrusion dies from different angles. For example, feedblocks for sheet or cast film are easily accessed from the side with a Yellow Jacket Satellite model and the Yellow Jacket Vertical would be ideal for a wire or tubing die requiring a top feed. Wayne Yellow Jacket Co-extruders have some unique advantages over competitively sized extruders and these are as follows:

• No worm drive gearbox - All Wayne extruders use double reduction helical gearboxes for less gear wear, less gearbox frictional heat and more efficient power transmission to the screw. This results in reduced stalling and more stable output as required for 24 hours a day production applications.
• Higher horsepower drives that assure stable output at high throughput levels.

• The toothed timing belt drive allows for easy speed range changes when compared to directly coupled motor and gearbox designs.
