Wayne Yellow Jacket® Large Floor Model extruders are used in heavy duty full scale production applications that require high and stable output. They feature robust construction, high horsepower drives, heavy duty gearboxes and custom made extruder screws. Due to the unique nature of each extrusion application, Wayne custom designs and custom builds each extruder with the particular range of applications that the customer needs to produce. Unlike "off the shelf" extruders, Wayne Yellow Jacket® Large Floor Model extruders are tailor made to suit your needs, not someone else's. Suprisingly, these extruders are competitively priced with "off the shelf" competitive machines. Yellow Jackets® are also compact, with "tuck under" motor position and base mounted control panels. Wayne Yellow Jacket® Large Floor Model extruders have some unique advantages over competitively sized extruders and these are as follows:

• No worm drive gearbox - All Wayne extruders use double reduction helical gearboxes for less gear wear, less gearbox frictional heat and more efficient power transmission to the screw. This results in reduced stalling and more stable output as required for 24 hours a day production applications.
• One piece barrel with EDM feed hole means Yellow Jackets have full wear resistant bimetallic lining in the feed section that can't be misaligned as opposed to competitive machines that have seperate soft stainless steel feed sections which wear out easier and are easily misaligned during operation and maintenance causing screw damage
• Higher horsepower drives that assure stable output at high throughput levels.
• The toothed timing belt drive allows for easy speed range changes when compared to directly coupled motor and gearbox designs.
