Wayne Extrusion Equipment Laboratory
The Wayne Extrusion Laboratory is a facility where engineers, processors,
research and production personnel can use Wayne YELLOW JACKET extrusion
equipment to test materials, conduct feasibility studies, gather data for
project justification, prove or disprove theories, evaluate screw designs,
and investigate new technologies. Extrusion runs are done with the customer
present, or to customer instruction with a full report. Our highly skilled
laboratory staff is always present for customer assistance. Complete facilities
for coextrusion, rod, compounding/pelletizing, tape, blown film, medical
and industrial tubing and other applications are available.
HOW TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO USE THE LAB
The lab is available on a rental basis. After discussing your particular
application, we will quote you on fees. Purchase orders are required with
a non-refundable deposit, and the remainder of fees is due net 30 days.
The customer is responsible for all material and shipping costs. Wayne
stocks only purge materials for quick run changeovers The lab is always
available for special projects, and Wayne's technical staff will discuss
any applications you have in mind.
MATERIALS:
The lab can process virtually any thermoplastics and many non-thermoplastics
material including PP, LDPE, HDPE, LLDPE, PVDC, PVC, EVOH, BAREX, EXA,
ADMER, MODIC, LONPLY, POLYURETHANE, HIPS, NYLON, ACRYLIC, EVA, EAA, POLYCARBONATE,
EMA and many others.
