Yellow Jacket Bantam Cast Film Line
Wayne Yellow Jacket Bantam Cast Film Extrusion Equipment is ideal for:Lab Desktop sized lines take up only a small space in crowded laboratories.
1/4" to 5/8" Yellow Jacket Bantam Extruders are built using industry standard feed end driven screws and double reduction helical gearboxes (see the "Yellow Jacket Bantam Extruder" literature for more details).
Bantam Feedblock for Multilayer Structures is available for two or more layer cast film. These feedblocks feature quick change tooling and outside adjustable flow compensators. Many structures such as A-B, A-B-C, A-B-C-B-A and many others are easily accommodated.
Cast Film Dies up to 6" wide are available in several styles such as: fixed slot die, adjustable lip dies, and production grade flex lip dies.
Bantam 6.5" Cast Film Take-Off features a 4.5" diameter water cooled hardened chrome plated chill roll standard, with various roll finishes available including matte, embossed and other types. Roll speed is easily adjusted using the speed pot. Edge pinning helps to keep the film in contact with the chill roll. An optional air knife is available. Lay on rolls and unwind stations are available for coating / laminating applications.
Bantam Universal Winders are available to take up the cast film after it leaves the Sheet Take-Off (see the Bantam Universal Winder literature for more information).
